I thought this was a good read. I enjoyed the plot twists and trying to figure out who the bad guy was. The writing was easy to relate with the characters as well.

My coworkers and I read this book as part of our book club and we are at odds with who Charley ended up with.
Two of us believe it was Glen, one believes it was Wayne and the other believes it was the construction worker working on her neighbours home.

Any insight?

Well, I gave it a try and just can't get through it. Fielding is usually a favorite author of mine but I'm not enjoying this one and gonna have to give it a rest. Maybe I'm just not in the 'mood' right now, so I'm moving on.

Het eerste boek waarbij ik van het begin af aan al wist wie het had gedaan. Je valt van het ene cliché in de ander en de personages blijven oppervlakkig.

It was fun, but predictable - I'm terrible at figuring out "whodunit" and I knew this one right away. But I enjoyed it anyway, it was nice escapist low-brow reading. :)
