I liked this but I actually liked the movie more. I think if I'd read the book before seeing the movie, I would have liked the book more. Ah well...

This review I came across says it better than I can... Thanks Stefan.

It's not a great story and it's not great to look at. This wouldn't be a problem if it was fun, or if the characters were likable at all, but it isn't and they're not. It's a depressing, needlessly gross, self-satisfied "realistic" superhero story that makes you feel like you ate spoiled meat when you're done.

Superman: Red Son was great, but Kick-Ass was gross, Kingsman was meh, Marvel's Civil War wasn't great, and Old Man Logan is a downer. I think it's time to give up on Mark Millar.

I just love this comics so much <3

i love Kick-Ass!! i watched half of the movie and thought it was a bit boring, but the comic is really good, the only thing that i don't understand is how Mindy's dad thinks that killing bad guys is a better life than a regular life for a 10 year old

RESEÑA 2016

4.5/5

This is a great, satirical look at superheroes.

Way more fun than the movie! I loved the realistic elements of a semi-nonsensical, in my opinion, plot premise.

Stupid-violent, but sort of interesting - what happens if a regular dude in the real world became a vigilante "super-hero"?
