I am an Emily Henry lover first and a reader second ☝️
no but fr following Nora and Libby to Sunshine Falls to sort out their own sibling relationship (amongst other things), coincidentally finding Nora's editorial rival
Mr. Big Dick himself
Charlie, and seeing the romance be the subplot of the whole story for a book this genre was so refreshing that I feel like it hit better the second time.
I do however wish the last chapter (not epilogue) was expanded on with one more inbetween chapter just for the sake of the pacing.

Didn’t expect to like this book so much given its “Hallmark Christmas movie” type plot, but I loved the characters, their backstories, the familial and romantic love, and the ending

this was my favourite emily henry book of the three i’ve read. i loved the two mc’s, their quick wit had me laughing out loud quite a few times. the tension was pretty good too. the one full spice scene was a little underwhelming but didn’t dampen the experience.

I loved this book! I was laughing and giggling and my heart was breaking. It was a lighthearted yet emotional read.

I love Charlie and Nora’s witty banter. I love the twist on the small town romance trope. I love Nora and Libby’s complex relationship. This was a beautiful story and I would definitely read it again.

My favorite, so far, from this author! I loved how the romance developed between the main characters, where there wasn't as much enemies to lovers as in other books. The secondary characters were sweet, funny, and supportive with their own stories that fortunately did not subtract from the main plot. Everything blended together so well. I was excited that I predicted how the resolution would come together and it was so fun to read how sweetly it played out.
