Romance isn’t my thing, but in the name of branching out, here we are. It was cute and I’d probably read something else by this author.
The first half of this book was slow going for me, so I almost decided to skip the rest. I’m SO GLAD I didn’t. By the end, every time Nora cried, I was already bawling. People learning how to love and, maybe more importantly, be loved is my favorite premise of all time, forever.
I also love how the romance and family drama flowed together and didn’t compete for space in the story. There was no pressure on the reader to take anyones side because it was clear everyone was just doing their best with the circumstances they were given. And it all comes together beautifully. We love a happy ending with no loose ends!

EMILY HENRY DOES IT AGAIN!
This book is truly out of a Hallmark movie with a Emily Henry plot. Nora and Charlie’s love story is one of those that your cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing to hard. They give you such a New York and Small Town kinda of love that makes you want to drive out to one yourself to find love and with a long list of things to do there. Nora’s and Libby relationship remains me of my own with my older sister, sometimes I’m Libby and others I’m Nora but I understand them both. This book made me understand life and growing up to quickly is okay but it’s also okay to want something for yourself once in a while because we all deserve that. And we deserve a love quite similar to Charlie and Nora’s, the one who is willingly to keep us on the edge but always brings us back to who we truly are.
