I read this, not realizing it had been written in 1965, which helps explain a couple things. But overall this felt like an entire book of poor grammar mistakes that needed an editor and character jumps and personality changes that went all over the place. 

I powered through this book, but don't want to read anything else by Samuel R. Delany. maybe I'm just not intellectual enough for this to work for me.

Girl, what?

This was bought for me by an attractive man so I didn’t DNF it. Plot points were happening just for the sake of moving the story forward and it felt a bit nonsensical but I did really like the language bits. Language is so cool 🥰
