Although "better" than Hooked, and by better I guess I mean it seemed to be less about sex and questionable fetishist, but slowly it starts peeling to unnecessary amounts of sexual situations. It doesn't do it for me.

I absolutely devoured this book!! It was so good it finished it in a couple of hours. I love how the FMC is impulsive, bold, strong and the MMC OMG. A dark featured, morally grey , tattooed, hot as hell PRINCE ?? Throw it my way! I absolutely fell in love with Tristan Fassa. I have always been a sucker for historical romance and this one right here fit all my criteria. Loved the slow burn / forbidden romance tropes - it swept me off my feet. The spice was also top tier. And to note, this author did the MOST amazing job writing this book with The Lion King as inspiration. A must- read for all dark romance peeps out there!!!
