If you haven’t read a book by JL Quick, I urge you to do so. They have different variations of suspense, twists in the plot and smut that I would label as perfection.
Crave is no exception. This masked stalker romance captured me from page one, and that only heightened as the story progressed. While this is can be a standalone I do suggest reading the first in the series Tryst beforehand. Though I’ve gotta say I think Andres is a notch hotter than Alejandro.
Check your warnings as this is literally a touch her and ☠️ dark romance with some fun, darker smutty tropes.
Side note: There’s a office character with a pretty great name that I was a big fan of.

What an absolutely amazing, dark, spicy book!!! I could not stop reading it. I most definitely have a love hate relationship with Andres though!

In "Crave," Andres and his partner, Alejandro, run Marcano Enterprises and the Diaz Cartel. But it's Andres alone who's the masked stalker with a fixation on Alexys.
His obsession hits a creepy high when Andres invades Alexys' home, claiming her as his own. He's unhinged and totally fixated, while Alexys, despite knowing she should call the cops, turns out to be a bit crazy herself and strangely attracted to the masked man.
The book is a quick read, keeping a fast pace that kept me engaged. It's on the dark side, so be sure to note the trigger warnings. And yeah, it's got an extra kick of spice.
What stood out to me was how Alexys rolls with Andres' craziness, and I liked that Andres keeps his dual roles – billionaire CEO and masked stalker – separate. It keeps you guessing when Alexys will put the pieces together.
The ending is pretty gripping, keeping you on edge. If you're into dark and spicy reads, "Crave" might be up your alley. Just be aware of the triggers before diving in.

Holy smokes. This was a darker stalker read that leaves you questioning where you fall on the morality scale for sure. Overall a great quick read to finish off the year! It’s hot and spicy, it’s dark, it’s everything we love to see! Watch the triggers for sure!

Excuse me but where can I find a man like Andres?! This was my first book from J.L. and it did not disappoint. I love stalker romances and this has literal “touch her and die” vibes which are also a top fave. 😏 I loved Lex’s sassiness and that she gave into what she craved and honestly what she deserved. I can understand her sense of insecurity being curvy, but my favorite thing was how Andres erased that and made her feel wanted. I can’t wait to see what J.L. writes next! Definitely made a fan outta me.
