This is a brilliant coming of age story.  The narrator, 13-year old Frank, learns about  a lot about life over the course of the summer. The author has captured life in a small town in Minnesota perfectly. It is set in the summer of 1961. Highly recommend. I think this is going to be in my favorite books for 2021.
