This is my second Elizabeth Lim read, and it does not disappoint!  Her stories are so immersive and nuanced.  I can’t list specifics because I would never want to spoil someone else’s journey.  Just be aware, you will read this one straight through, so if you’ve places to be, you’ll just have to cancel.

I really didn't enjoy this book. Struggled mightly to finish it. And even though, I was skimming a bit through the second half. Her Radiant Curse had none of the richness or atmosphere of Lim's other books. It felt like an info-dump instead of a story. The characters felt flat; I didn't care about any of them. Also, the romance was unnecessary and felt very shoe-horned. Just a disappointment all around :(
