honestly? this was just very dry and boring (it's literally a textbook aha) and you really don't need to read this. however, the art inside (including clary's doodles) were beautiful and the comments in the margins was really fun! the reading experience was not good with this one sadly :,)

It was great and it clears things out about the shadowhunters world, but it was boring to me, but it was great.
I should read this again in the future to understand more.

I loved the art work. Thought this was a neat little extra to the Shadowhunting universe.
I actually enjoyed reading this book. I love knowing more about the world and the shadowhunters. The side bar was comical as well very interesting.
