It gets a bit tedious. The comments written by the characters are hilarious though!

i really really enjoyed learning All these details about One of my favourite fictional worlds! And by the way THE COVER AND THE ART IS FRICKIN BEAUTIFUL! <3

I'm ready to be a shadowhunter!! Honestly, I thought it was kind of boring. The only thing that kept me turning the page were Simon, Clary, and Jace's little notes.

Five stars for the Jace/Clary/Simon commentary, it was perfect lol

Same thing here I’ve like been meaning to read it word for word but at this point I’m just gonna say I read it cause I mean I know the jist of it and that’s enough for me

Whither thou goest; I will go;
Where thou diest, I will die, and there will I be buried;
The Angel do so to me, and more also,
If aught but death part thee and me.

Companion book to the Mortal Instruments. The best part is by far the comments of Clary, Simon, and Jace and all of Clary's drawings.

Some great background material, but not required reading for any of Cassandra Clare's series.
