I never tire of Dickens' characters and this fabulous story is well worth repeated readings.

Very good book. This is my first time reading it even though I've seen many film adaptations of it every Christmas of my life. Really enjoyed it!

It's a classic for a reason. I've heard of families performing this to one another on Christmas Eve, either everyone taking on a voice, or one person doing all the different voices. What a fun idea.

I wish I had read this book earlier in my life. It's such a heartwarming story that I can clearly see why it's a Christmas classic (besides the fact that Christmas is in the book's name). One thing I noted in this first time reading was the vivid descriptions of all the locations and of Scrooge--I felt like I was so well-acquainted with him after just the first few pages. Plus, I was so into the book and felt like I had been present on all his journeys that I actually jumped out of my seat when I was disrupted in the middle.
