Really messed with my mind- so many layers of power-struggle and role reversals from ant-like to god-like. Yet Jacobs is able to keep humor present and not let the story take itself too seriously.

A creation story written as only Jesse Jacobs can write it. Completely messed up, leaving you creeped out and intrigued.

Really great. Weird, disturbing, beautiful, and sad. But in the best way possible!

Gorgeous art; I love the instances where he's playing with shape and line above all else. However, his panel structure is confusing, and doesn't guide the reader's eye through the page well; I repeatedly read things in the wrong order. Love the colors, didn't enjoy the way which he approached his plot.

A very short, very bizarre take on the creation story/myth, and one that I still don't quite get even while thinking about it for a while. I think Jesse Jacobs has some interesting stuff that I always want to read, but I still don't know if I ever quite understand what's going on. More straightforward than Safari Honeymoon, for sure, but that's a low bar to clear.
