I can't wait to discuss this with my yarn club. I also used the "Buddy Read" function with @hayleyrandol and I really enjoyed it. Leaving and replying to comments as you read with a friend - it's perfect for virtual clubs, though I think there is a limit to the number of people who can join. Even without the buddy feature, I'm enjoying SG's journal feature; I think it could make me more intentional with my reading

- This book is raw and real and charming in it's own way. I've enjoyed Sutton Foster as an actress since I first saw her on Bunheads. This book was an enjoyable read and I loved the juxtaposition of the patterns of her craft projects woven amongst the ever-changing and new patterns of her life. I loved the snippets of reminders that everything happens for a reason, the importance of family and the knowledge that we're not destined to repeat a specific pattern of behavior if we don't want to be. Important lesson of trusting your gut; it often leads you in the right direction! I loved the way the author talks about her passion for crafting and the importance art has in our lives. There's a quote I particularly loved about art and it made me think about the perspective of what inspires someone to make art in a specific way in different seasons of their lives.
