Before they had even met the MP described the pleasure of F***ing her over the corpse of her father, murdered at the hands of him. Something just felt a whole lot wrong with some of the MP expressions and thoughts.

Calling this a reimagining is quite a stretch. Slapping fairytale names on characters and making puns isn't a reimagining, it's lazy. Emily tried really hard to convince the reader that the main character getting turned on by wanting to fuck the other main character over her dad's corpse was hot...... and like.... it's not. James was a weirdo and Wendy was a pushover. Peter Pan being a drug lord didn't work.

I liked it 😊 

The development of the characters was somewhat predictable, however there were moments where I empathized with Wendy. Since the plot development is not very elaborate, it becomes an easy-to-read book.

I enjoyed the spice of this book and the play on a classic fairy tale. The focus is on a well known childhood villain who you previously would never have been attracted to…but now can’t stop thinking about. Can’t wait to read the second one of this series.
