So good! There are truly VILE characters in this book, some imperfect ones, and others that you can’t help but feel deeply for. I was thrown for a loop when a pretty big shocker came early on, enough that I had to go back and then keep listening to make sure I understood

I enjoyed this book. It needed help with pacing. In the middle we know who did it but rhe characters take another two hundred pages to figure it out.

I'm glad I'd watched the TV series before reading this so I could just enjoy the entertainment. Otherwise I would have spent the whole time yelling at the TV with how off the whole story was. The book characters are way better and this was a good gruesome murder. Felt like it's been ages since I've read a decent one. You knew quickly who it was doing the killing but still enjoyed reading to see if the characters would finally work it out.

I listened to this on audio book, and many times I felt like I had missed things. I never like to listen to audio books at normal speed, I always speed it up a little bit so I thought that was the issue.

It also felt like plot points moved very quickly, and characters details weren't drawn out. I just thought maybe it was poor writing. It wasn't until I got to the end that I realised the audio book was abridged. I prefer to listen to the unabridged version but I didn't know. Oh well!! Turns out the book probably wasn't as rushed as I thought.
