I loved this book! I thought the storyline was well developed and interesting, and the twists weren’t predictable nor unrealistic. I love the way Benjamin is able to build tension and mystery throughout this book, which creates a haunting atmosphere, especially around the theme of blurring reality. Despite criticism, I liked that Gabe and Sylvie’s relationship wasn’t highlighted as a major factor of the book since it showed the pleasant monotony of everyday life, especially since they’ve been together (mostly) since high school. The characters are well developed and authentic, just like in the Immortalists. This book was incredibly unique and psychological, would definitely recommend!
