Sweet story...
The beginning of this story broke my damn heart. I was so damn angry but quickly,that changed, to a bit of pity and definitely anger towards our heroine. Heartache and,betrayal changes us and I feel like she became "woe is me" person and that annoyed me.
The author however lets us see Nicole's emotional growth and that made me love her.
I wish there had been more in-depth description of Mace.
The story is a duo point of view one but I still feel as though we got only Nicole's side. However I still,enjoyed his character, he was sweet and loving. With a take-no-crap attitude. The way he and Nicole just mesh was heartwarming.
And made me love this story so, so much.
I wish Gabriela had gotten more than a verbal beat down because that bitch sure as hell deserved it.
In the story we are introduced to Mace's siblings, Connor (eldest of the bunch, single dad, and Nicole's boss), Angela (quirky sister), Chase (Mace's twin brother with a weird twin connection and manwhore) and his parents (something fishy going on there)
I cannot wait to see more of them.
