✨ It was indeed a heart pounding thriller, and it kept me on edge till the last minute. Absolutely loved the characters (or most of em) and the way the narrative was structured.

✨We get to see glimpses of the past from every character's life and it showcases how they've been shaped today. Their decisions and ideals of now are completely based on their past traumatic experiences.

✨ The author has dedicated this book to his father and it clearly shows in the narrative as the paternal bond is explored in a variety of ways.

✨ The characters are extremely well crafted as they're complex and unique. You need to peel off their layers to see the true nature of em. On one hand, we have Alex who seems pretty much a recluse and he doesn't open up to people, but he really cares about others and is unable to express his emotions cuz of his trauma. On the other hand, we have Anthony who poses as the greatest saviour of mankind but has completely derailed from his true path.

✨ I cannot express how much I adored the writing style of the author. He has masterfully weaved the aspects of mythology and technology together, and I was amazed when the connection between Darwin's theory and Hindu mythology was introduced🤯 Also there's a lot of technical jargon but the author explains it in simple terms throughout the book. The interview with Anthony seemed to be a clever idea to explain the concepts in layman's terms.

✨ Overall, I'd highly recommend this book for my fellow thriller lovers who also like a touch of sci-fi in their books.
