I hated the cliffhanger. They were building up their relationship and then at the end they just break up. I don't understand why they had to just because of their family.

Today I will talk about a book that is Young Adult and has a plot that is very well known and entertaining.
.
The book tells the story of Isobel, a girl of limited resources who is 17 years old and has to divide her life between school and the cafeteria that her mother owns. What becomes more complicated in her life is that she discovered that her mother does know who her father is and now she wants her to meet him. What she thought would be just a weekend trip, will become a new challenge, when she realizes that her father is a wealthy person and giving her the sudden news that he will change her to a very prestigious school, where she will be surrounded by very wealthy and powerful people, all this seems like great news but with only one warning, "Stay away from Noah Hastings", will Isobel keep her promise?
.
This book honestly gave me expectations a little big because, reading the synopsis, I thought it would be like the book "Paper Princess" however it took a different course than expected, this disappointing me a little, as I consider that everything that happened to the protagonist was resolved too quickly, it was like watching a Disney series and every problem had to be solved in a single chapter. Another thing to mention is that I started reading it without knowing that there were more books in the series and that the book would end in a cliff-hanger, which I must admit that it bothered me a little, because the knot of the plot the truth, I do not see it as something that caught me.
So in the end I think it's a very easy book to read, but it didn't grab me at any point and there were times when it felt very cringy and even boring, but it's not a read I would hate and I think the characters do have a bit more backstory and I didn't feel they were flat.

I had a pretty good time reading this one. I thought the romance was cute and I loved the friendship dynamics. There were just too many Harry Potter references for me.

3.5 stars. predictable YA romance, but i still enjoyed it
