I thought this book was well written. But honestly it was kind of boring. There wasn't anything really happening and the things that did happen kept repeating themselves. I thought that the FMC was really annoying and needed to get a backbone. The whole book was just nothing. Nothing happened. And then the whole Romeo and Juliet storyline, terrible. Didn't fit the vibe. The whole book and through the second I was shipping her with Wes instead of Noah. Because honestly he was the better choice. But for the plot I guess go with Noah even though out of the three in the friend group he was the worst choice. Luther was the most interesting character out of the whole thing and because of the righting I wouldn't read a book with him as the main character.

The start was so strong. The ya romance vibes with this girl being shipped off to a new prestigious school and meeting this popular guy who she isn't supposed to be seen with. The dialogue was cute, her hurting her ankle when I had just done that irl was so funny and relatable LMAO. I always enjoy this type of premise. His friends were so funny and cute too. I want their books lowkey. But towards the end of the book the way the plot was gonna play out was SO predictable. And borderline so dramatic I just found it a bit ridiculous unfortunately. The romance was so cheesy as well after they went on their date, I just felt like the book ended on a much weaker note unfortunately. But I'd still reccomend it if you want a "poor" girl in a new fancy highschool with popular rich boy setting.

alexandra moody count your days for ending the book like this.
