Rayne after breaking up with her boyfriend, helps her friend Cade who just happens to be her brothers best friend, complete a bet with her brother.  A lovely friends to lovers story, I am looking forward to reading the next story.

It was cute, not much depth to the characters or writing but a fun read.

RL Henderson is a fantastic writing duo! They write books filled with interesting characters in some unusual situations then add in plenty of steam, humor and emotion. Their books are always a fun and entertaining adventure.

Book 2 in the Rendezvous series can definitely be read as a standalone, Book 1 is definitely worth the read! This series features women lawyers who meet
when they agree to volunteer for a special outreach program for the mayor. These women are bold and fearless lawyers with less than fantastic personal lives.

Rayne was recently dumped by her ex-boyfriend of a year after a romantic getaway weekend because he said she wasn’t very good in bed. Ouch! For Rayne, a woman who I big the reason he dumped her was worse than losing him. Rayne has been overlooked, ignored and friend-zoned her entire life. When her older brother bets his best friend, Cade, he can’t have sex with just one woman for an entire month Rayne sees and opportunity.

Cade is committed to avoiding commitment and goes through life having casual sex with a roster of like minded women and random hookups. He craves sex, but doesn’t want anything more. When his best friend’s little sister suggests she be his only sex partner for a month so she can learn to be great in bed he reacts with anger over the reason she thinks she’s bad in bed, but the idea of sex with her really turns him on.

These two have known each other since elementary school and are close friends. The heat between them
Is extraordinary hot and the sex scenes are definitely scorching!

Cade surprised me! His description as a playboy and his strategy for avoiding relationship entanglements gave the initial impression of a one dimensional character. I was so wrong, and the chapters from
Cade’s POV show an alpha male who is very possessive and protective of his woman, even if she’s only his for a month. After reading this book, Cade became one of my favorite characters.

I’m eager to read the next book in the series which will feature Delaney, the third lawyer in the group.

I received a free ARC from the authors and Hidden Gems; and I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased review.

This was a book recommended to me by someone who described the smut in here as a “jump scare” and honestly that is the most accurate way to describe it (in a good way!). I feel like the must hit out of nowhere and all of the sudden we were on one of the more smutter rides of my life, but I am here for it. Cade and Rayne were hot as hell and I appreciated the chemistry they had together. I prefer to keep this spoiler free but when Cade gifts Rayne what he does in the epilogue my jaw was on the FLOOR! Like damn okay that's hot. Overall a fun read, lots of smut and two fun characters. The playboy act tends to not be a good time for me reading wise but watching Cade battle his new feelings for Rayne was more endearing then it was frustrating like I usually feel. Solid book!

Whose Little Sister?

RL Kenderson Rendezvous bk 02 The C Agreement

4.5 stars - Rayne Thompson is good for Cade Nichols in so many ways. It turns out that he's also good for her. I hate that he has to convince her of his desire for her just as she is, but I love that he puts forth the effort.

"What did I tell you about listening to me?"
-- Cade Nichols

I love when he gets all bossy and possessive. So stinking hot! And those lessons!

So freaking good!

Such a different couple and feel than The D Appointment and still just as delicious to read! I loved this book so much! I think I highlighted the entire thing.
