I'm so thankful for the amazing friendships I've had in my life and still currently have. I'm fortunate that making friends has not been difficult for me, but it was important to hear how others may struggle.

Over my life and to this day I've always craved deep friendships, which I have, but also worry that my 2nd tier friends need more attention or shouldn't be placed there, etc, but this book helped me learn that having different levels of friendships is totally fine and normal.

I also learned how I can show up to be a better friend for those that I want to be there for, how to share what I need in friendships, and how to have healthy boundaries as well.

The perfect lowstakes audiobook for me to sorta listen to during a hard time. Maybe useful for some, but overall not groundbreaking - likely better suited for an article. The constant pop culture references and humor annoyed me, and there's downright skippable chapters if you've ever been to therapy. Had me reflecting at times, but not something that's really useful to go back to.

A bit different direction than I expected from the cover/description. If you're in therapy, you could probably skip this book.

This book radiates empathy and warmth for the reader and wisely prompts them to bring the same perspective to their friendships. I highlighted so many paragraphs I thought my Kobo was going to stop working 🥲

The content was good but I found it a bit repetitive.
