I had this book on my loans shelf but decided not to read this one after finishing the author's first book. Yikes.

I listened to the audiobook. The author sure does love her analogies. This was far too focused on the author's specific relationship challenges rather than a blueprint for the masses.

I listened to the audiobook and glad I did, it’s conversational in a way that may not come off as well in print. It felt like less of a how-to and more of a string of anecdotes with musings on friendship. A reassuring read (especially for fellow anxious attachment types) but felt a bit hit or miss.
