This one was too weird. It was overly intellectual and literary. I could just tell I wasn’t going to get it and it wasn’t worth it to continue to figure that out.

I didn’t connect with the voice of the narrator and found the Neanderthal interludes kind of boring. Some moments of  interesting philosophy interspersed throughout.

Described as fast paced but I found it anything but except for a piece in the middle and the climax. A bit too much philosophical content for my liking. It kept my attention until the end but I wasn’t overwhelmed

Very slow to get started, and hampered by its real-world references, but a compelling overall package.
