I do like Vimes, but this one didn't hold my attention very successfully. Which is wild because it's the one book everyone says to start with!

this is where i chose to start with discworld! (purist weirdos don’t interact) i can definitely see myself make my way through the recommended order for the city watch because this cast of characters is just so lovable! i’m glad i read this book young enough and with little enough life experiences to make terry pratchett’s prose and allegory still feel genius.
