I am finally done with this book. After I had read that it might not be a true story, I stopped reading because I was dissapointed. Still I have finished. It was an okay book, but dont know if I would remember it a year later.

The diary pages come from a real life girl. Nancy is actually anonymous as are the people she encounters. She is a young girl who gets tricked into believing she has found true love. She later realizes how horribly wrong she was. I enjoyed reading this book.

I was appalled when I found out that all of the books written by anonymous teenagers and edited by Beatrice Sparks were actually works of fiction. I started with Go Ask Alice and read a few more after that. It just irks me when an author says a book is non-fiction when in actuality it is fiction.

High-interest material for reluctant readers. Same author as (the supposedly anonymous) Go Ask Alice.

I really liked this but the author lying about it is ruining it for me a bit

This book is really sad. I nearly cried a few times. Honestly I don't know how people can go on while dealing with something like this, but I guess you have to keep on keeping on, no matter what.
