This was quite an interesting read from a literary standpoint. It was self-referential in such a cool way. I could just picture the author coming up with all of the layers of it.

It was also engaging and funny. I laughed out loud several times. David was a really raw main character. Sometimes his narration was hard to sit through, as I argued with how I thought he should react to things, but that was definitely the point.

My only issue is that I felt the book dragged on, especially in the end. It probably could have wrapped up a bit sooner.
