One of the better Superman stories I've ever read, though not quite as good as All Star Superman. It felt a little "basic" though, I imagine this would be a great read for someone pretty new to superman, even though it's not his origin, it's still pretty close to the beginning of his career and covers him learning how to come to terms with himself. What really makes this worthwhile though, is Tim Sale's art, which is superbly simple and striking. Fans of Heroes will be familiar with his work, but it's so much better and more developed here.

As much as I dislike Batman: The Long Halloween, I love Superman for All Seasons. The mid-century aesthetic, the way the plot is entirely internal and relatable, the way both Smallville and Metropolis come to life…just beautiful work.

One of those perfect Superman stories that really focuses on the heart of the man and what drives him to be a hero.

I love this so much, from the art which I thought I wouldn’t like, to the narrative, to the characters.

This book is so great and I especially love the first issue focusing on johnathon Kent and his dialogue is amazing.

The thing that kept me from 5 stars was the second issue, I didn’t like Lex Luthor that much but other than that I love it.

I really enjoyed Superman For All Seasons. It is not Lobe and Sale’s best work together. But it is a touching Superman story with beautiful art. This is the kind of feel I want captured in a Superman movie.

As great as Grant Morrison's All-Star Superman, and just as human in all its unashamed americana... and better told overall.

Jeff Loeb shows us what it would be like for a farm boy to leave a small town for the big city and embrace his destiny.

Tim Sale channels Norman Rockwell and shows us a picturesque Smallville like we've never seen before.

A great starting point for new Superman or graphic novel fans.
