I loved everything about this debut novel! It had the tone of “The Full Monty” with a quirky cast of characters straight out of a Coen Brothers film! This heartwarming and heartbreaking book gives you so much to cheer for! The Panda-monium will bring you out of your Pandemic slump!

This book absolutely broke me. This is in no way a YA but it reads like one which I loved.

The literal tears of joy I shed when Will bust down their apartment door to watch his dad almost get his shit kicked in and SPOKE AFTER OVER A YEAR??? absolutely unmatched feeling. My heart broke.

The grief of a lost loved one was so real and raw in this and it felt like I'd been the person that lost someone, not Will and Danny.

Krystal is one of my favorite characters in this book second only to Ivan. The stunt she pulled where she got all of her girls to dance with Danny at his final performance was so amazing.

And that ending?? Danny becoming a full-time exotic dancer at Krystal's club and he and his son's bond growing stronger every day? Hilarious and so so perfect.

This was not as endearing or sob-fest-ish as I was hoping. It was more a comedy than a sweet story. Which is fine! It just didn't fit as well for me as it could have. However, I love that Levi picked this one off the shelf for me!
