Three short stories set in the Star Wars universe just prior to the events in The Force Awakens. These stories introduce us to FN-2187, Rey and Poe.
This shouldn't have worked for me, as I'm not usually a fan of short stories. Also the purpose of this short story collection is to whet people's appetite for an upcoming film ... that came out in 2015, which I have already seen. But I'm glad to have read this collection. For me, each story was more interesting than the last. Poe's was definitely my favourite, possibly because I have a soft spot for space dogfights.
