This book was a read I did in between more heavy and intense ones. I also read it as the sun finally appeared again after a long, soggy winter in the UK, making the summer-y feel of Pelion hit just right. I knew this wasn't the type of book I normally read, so I was open to any surprises and found the characters more relatable than I thought they'd be. Of course there were the 'typical' tropes, which irked me slightly but overall they weren't overdone. However, I have never been a fan of 'smut' and I felt that this book pushed it a bit too far. There is a time and place for it and at the start it sort of made sense but once the 'ice was broken' it felt repetitive to me and made me simply want to jump the pages to get to the actual story again.
A deeply moving love story that stays with you. Heartfelt and emotional in the best way.
slow-paced
I have zero idea why this book got such good reviews. It felt very YA with the vocabulary and the female character gushing like a 5th grader about a boy… and yet the spicy parts were cringe!
The back story that causes her “anxiety” was not very developed. I had such high hopes and was disappointed for sure!

This book was phenomenal and fascinating when I tell you I was left in tears after finishing this book would be an understatement. Archer and Bree are the written definition to what love is. We all know love is how you know to express it and I find that the way they expressed it to each other even without each other’s voices made my heart swell. Read this book ASAP. Props to the author it’s an impeccable job!
Oh my god! I cried at the end and I loved every minute of it of this book! If I wasn’t working I wouldn’t have put it down!

(5 ⭐️) “She asked me the sign for love and I spelled out your name.”
Another book that broke my heart and stitched it back together :,) Bree and Archer are definitely one of my favorite book couples now. They truly love each other wholeheartedly and helped each other overcome their trauma. This book shows that everyone has a voice, they could sound different, but deserve to be heard. And I loved this message. it also shows that disabilities can be hard to live with. (Well obviously)
I thought this book was just a regular romance but then I found out that Archer is a mute, coping with trauma, holds a strong message etc. so that itself caught my attention because I do get tired of basic romance books sometimes.
i loved Bree so much. She’s so adorable, sweet, kind, patient with archer, and brings a smile to my face. Side characters I also liked most of them like Anne and Bree’s friends
