I really enjoyed the first 30% of the book, but then it gradually started to feel strange. The dialogue became overly cheesy, and the characters' actions began to frustrate me. I completely lost connection with the story during the strip club scene with Archer, and the repeated attempts at murder were just too much for me.
βHe invited me to his home for Christmas dinner and his little girl learned a few signs before I got there, and I taught her a few more. She asked me the sign for love and I spelled out your name.
Bree let out small sound, somewhere between a laugh and a sob. "So now she's going to go around saying, 'I Bree you?'" she asked, smiling softly.β
β> May this kind of teacher never find me :)))

I was looking online for more novels which featured deaf characters, and this came up as a suggestion as someone who isn't deaf but who uses sign language. I enjoyed it for the most part.
