continues on from its prequel at a much faster pace, enjoyable, disappointingly rushed ending.

Fast-moving, action-packed story with lots of tension. At the same time, there are some great characters who are continuing in this sequel. I enjoyed watching them develop and contribute to the solution of the problems involved in this first contact with life coming from outside our planet.  I've read a few of Cawdron's first-contact books finding each one thought-provoking, intriguing and unique.
