Incredible and moving story on the ripples violence leaves behind. It’s very easy to judge and jump to conclusions especially when you don’t have the full story.
The water color illustrations are stunning & perfectly conveys all the emotions and thoughts Will is going through.

I found this one more vivid than Long Way Down in verse, and the art was really good and portrayed the text in a very attention-grabbing, suspenseful way. It's a really moving book and a great commentary on gun violence and the chain reactions that happen.

Wow. Such a powerful book. I felt the anger, sadness, and mystery of this book so acutely. The art was amazing and really gripping. I adored this story.

A very powerful book about cyclical violence that is a difficult but eye-opening read. My understanding is that the original novel is written in verse, and so that style has been employed here as well. I think, in some parts, the effect of verse amongst the comic did not totally work as far as pacing goes.

Kinda wish I read the novel first but this still was a beautiful read regardless! The art work is beautiful and great job telling/showing the story of those who deal with this cyclical violence on the regular. Would’ve been great to know what happens next though, but guess it’s just left to the reader’s imagination
