Wow. I think this is even stronger than the original verse novel! Stunning graphics, too.

Ok this is so good. I love Long Way Down and the graphic novel version of it delivers. Much like the story itself, the images accompanying it will give you pause. There is great distinction between the past and the present. The visuals have a water-color vibe, unclear and blurry edges. Gives the illusion of the ghosts within the story. I loved loved loved this. Very powerful adaptation of an already incredible story for young readers.

This is a gem of a book. It sends an important message, it's really well-written, and I love the 'pacing' of the art and text. An engaging and haunting read. I hope it can help young ones dealing with the same peer pressure as the protagonist.

Great adaptation- still prefer the original with Reynolds poetry but loved the visuals.

This was such a profound book about cycles of violence and this graphic novel version adds so much to the haunting story and moving dialogue. Will loses his brother to violence has been taught the rules of the neighborhood. No tears. No snitching. Get revenge. Will the ghosts of his past show him a new path, or will he join them? So. Damn. Good.
