I decided to try to continue this series even though the first was just 3 stars. And I just wasn't feeling it.  Lucy Score's books always have something quirky about them, and the quirky town was just too much for me.

So cute

This was adorable. Just the right level of cheese without being country 4.5 stars for me. I continue to be a Lucy score fan

It’s definitely not my favorite of her books, but it does have a nice fall vibe and cute rom com story

This book was okay but it didn’t have anything that really put it apart from other simple romances.

It didn’t have anything special so I just got pretty bored. But overall I didn’t hate it. Yet I just won’t remember it.

The story as a whole was fun and lighthearted. The audiobook however was awful. It felt like I had my Alexa reading to me.

I enjoyed this book but there were certain aspect of it that bothered me. For example the fact that the love interests are going to technically be step siblings. Also the beginning where they say every other sentence how they can’t resist each other and think about only each other but they just can’t act on it was a little much. But ignoring that stuff I loved the characters and the relationships that they all had.

I’m a sucker for silly rom-com, small town love stories. A fun little story (for a much needed break from the seriousness of other books I’ve been reading).
