Not bad at all for someone who doesn’t love fantasy books that much!

Good book but a bit overrated. The love of tamlin and feyre didn't feel like it was worth all the misery. The falling in love part should've been better to make us want feyre to win all the tasks. Nice read.

I am pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. I assumed that I would be entertained by it, but I did not expect it to be so unputdownable. Is this a perfectly crafted book? No. Are there some problematic areas? Yes, though I'd argue that it is believable for the setting and story. (Check your trigger warnings!) But this book has a plethora of lore and a vibrant setting that isn't bogged down by slow pacing or too much exposition. Readers are dropped into this world to discover it alongside Feyre. I hesitated to give this 5 stars, but I simply had to for sheer enjoyment factors. All I've ever heard is this is fairy smut, good fairy smut, but still just fairy smut. And I don't think that is fair at all (especially since there really isn't much in this book). This book deserves to be amongst other lauded fantasy novels.

I read it in german but I'll still do the review in english.
I absolutely loved this book. This is also the forst fantasy novel I read and I loved the details of the worldbuilding and the writing style in general.
It took me a while to read but that's mainly because I never read german books and because I took my time for a friend who reads the same book. Still I devoured the last 150 pages in the last 2 days because I didn't wanna wait anymore.

The characters are so confusing but so good together. Sadly I know already who Feyre is gonna be with in the next books but I'm still looking forward to reading how that exactly happens.
For this book I really love Feyre and Tamlin, they made a great couple and the bond they built was so beautiful and strong, it really carried the book.

The end made me tear up a little but damn was that good. I won't go into detail or spoil anything ofc but let's just say we all would be so upset if this turned out any other way.

Easy 5 star read, loved it and I will definitely read the other books but I can't decide if I stay w the german editions or switch to the english ones.
