Funny and light; exactly what I expect from and love about Elinor Lipman. Sure, there are a lot of convenient coincidences and shallow characters, but this is light comedic fiction, not Great Literature for the Ages. I was entertained, and in places I laughed out loud. Just what I needed after two more serious books in a row and a week of editing dry academic prose.

A quick read, pleasurable characters, but not up to Lipman's usual standard. The plot was weak, but wasnonetheless a pleasant read.

Delightful! My mom and I kept saying to one another that we would love to have a Henry pop up in our lives.
