DNF. And I am sad to say I'm not sure anyone else ever will. This is a self published book, which is not a flaw on its own, but there is a very good reason no self respecting publisher would touch this. The voice and attention span is completely erratic. The editing is atrocious. I made it 10 pages in, and there are several errors in correct word choices. (Effect v affect and the like).

The book isn't even about Elvis Presley, really. It's about the author, who is a FAN of Elvis, and his gripes about being disappointed in society. This early in the book, it was basically about being disappointed in love and a lack of a support system.

I first thought that this was Soooo bad that I would read more just to laugh at how poorly it is constructed, but I stopped myself because I honestly feel like a bad person reading any more. This isn't a biography of a deceased famous person, it's an intimate, if very badly written, diary basically of a person very much alive. I got my chuckle, but continuing to read only for the internal mocking I would get out of it just seemed cruel.
