"This is definitely the work of a cards power..."

One of my favorite anime series when I was a child was finally back after more than 20 years. It's still the same cutesy story with new events leading up to new magic! A wonderful read especially for me since I've grown up watching CCS online. I even brought a real set of Clow Cards many years ago.

Anyways, the graphics are amazing, the plot is gripping and I actually want to know more about the story so much that I finished the first volume in one sitting. My only problem is how I still cannot comprehend Sakura's and Syaoran's relationship, and how fast Sakura actually got feelings for Syaoran based on the last episode of the main series, but I guess it'll grow on me after a couple of reads.

Love the story so far, and I cannot wait to jump to vol 2, and of course, I am so excited for the anime adaptation of this series that will premiere on January 2018. My inner childhood is literally screaming right now.

Our sweet, badass Sakura is back! This is a lovely reunion and I am so happy to return to this series, as creepy as it can get at times (not a surprise). Sailor Moon fans would love this if they haven't discovered Sakura yet, and if you haven't read/experienced CCS yet, this is a good introduction to the backstory as well as a new arc. And the romance - well, I will never be too old for the good old-fashioned sweet childhood love between Sakura and Syaoran.

Nothing compares to having one of your favorite series making a comeback years later. The six-year-old me would be squeeling with joy.

So excited with what's going to happen next, with all these new cards appearing. Aaahhh~.
