New story featuring Cardcaptor Sakura as she enters middle school, with adorable art (as always). After a scary dream, all of the Sakura cards have gone blank (hence the title) and weak, prompting Sakura and company to search out the why of it all. I am thinking that the new developments mirror Sakura's personal growth. At any rate, new Cardcaptor Sakura!!

3.5 I feel like nothing much happens in this book yet. But i’m totally hooked cuzzz... sakura.

Okay, I know I'm a generation late from this hype. This is what everyone was watching when I was a kid but I had an obsession for a long-haired heroine, so I never gave this one a chance. But, I have to see this one today!

I came across an online article about this series being gay and I was like, “What?! Really?!” I didn't know! And I realized that even if I saw it when I was a kid, I wouldn’t get it too, and it would still be new information. Or, I dunno. Considering, I just also learned about queer materials back in 2019 I guess, in my literature subject! How airheaded am I? But it's really nice opening your eyes to possibilities. There are endless.

Anyway, it's a fun experience! I love just how magical this series is. The card-capturing is entertaining and interesting! I'm kind of wary against the people in England and Syaoran (was it?) though. But this Clear Card arc is really pumping me up! The premise revolves around Sakura, getting dreams about the cards, and a mysterious hooded persona. When she woke up, her cards became empty. She began facing mysterious events that will be soon captured in her new transparent cards.

I had no idea about the plot of this one, so everything I read will be new information acquired! I just know that there are cards and cute costumes! And I just realized that this is not the first volume of the original series, so, I'll stop with this arc first!

I'm kind of hesitant if should keep reading though. I also found out people are dissing this for not outing gay couples or something. But yea, maybe, I guess I'll be my own judge for that.

Ahhhh yea! Couldnt even take a break from the series now that these bad boys are out. Bring it on!!

A wonderful return to the world of Cardcaptor Sakura Kinomoto. The pacing of this introduction seems a bit varied, with multiple mysteries springing up right away and sections of slice-of-life showing Sakura's new middle school life. The slice-of-life is fairly light in this volume, however, I look forward to even more Sakura adventures!

I need the next one! I enjoy the manga so much more than the anime for some reason.
