Prefacio diciendo que a mi pesar todavía no leí Los desposeídos.

Un relato precioso sobre la vejez, el idealismo, los tiempos. Me parece fascinante la capacidad de Le Guin para contar esta historia cuando ella misma tenía unos cuarenta años al escribirla. Me hizo pensar mucho en las Madres de Plaza de Mayo.

La edición es PRECIOSA, las ilustraciones son una delicia. Recomiendo.

En este relato, Ursula K Le guin decide no enfocarse en la ideología (el anarquismo, el cual ha sido su favorito) sino en la persona que lo crea, que lucha por él. Su persona principal, una anciana mujer que estuvo en las primeras revueltas y quien marcó una paradigma para los revolucionarios es su foco de inicio. Es en ella en quien está interesada como símbolo de cuestionarse la vejez, el olvido, la muerte y todo lo que viene después de la revolución para el ser humano.

i'm giving it 3 1/2 stars until i've grasped the entire thing. i'm not sure how to feel about it yet.
