I love that Vet Marie got her happily ever after. While working as a Vet for the Iditarod Sled Dog Race Marie has to deal with Tyler, one of the newer participants and as cocky as he is confident.

Tyler is running the race for his own reasons that have left him broken and unwilling to get attached.

I learned a lot about dog sledding and all the challenges that they can face. I loved that care of his dogs was so important to Tyler.

Both characters had a lot of past emotions to get through and I loved their journey to each other. Some small elements at the end that I felt were rushed to resolve but otherwise a great story.

Running Wild is a wonderful addition to the Wild series and I really enjoyed Marie’s story.

From Calla and Jonah’s story, we already knew a little bit about Marie, specifically her love for Jonah, and many readers had strong feelings about Marie. I am so happy that she got her own story! Marie’s journey is emotional, heartwarming and has a lot of personal growth! Tyler was a great addition as the love interest, and his story was equally heart-wrenching and beautiful. It is a slower burn but it was very fitting for their story.

I felt Tucker did an exceptional amount of research into the dog-sledding community and I learned so much through this story. I loved how she showed both sides of the sport/industry.

As always, I was happy to have some cameos with Calla and Jonah. I personally thought it was the perfect amount, and didn't take anything away from Marie’s story.

Overall, this is an excellent addition to the Wild Series!

Thank you so much to Valentine PR and the author for providing me with an eARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Just as amazing as I remembered. The heart ache for Marie just a fresh. As well as for Tyler. Even while listening I still loved following along with my ebook/paperback. It’s just so addictive. This whole series is.

Marie did not deserve the emotional whiplash Tyler gave her. I wanted to like this but I was so annoyed with all the characters by the time I stopped it wasn't worth it.

I enjoyed the deep dive into Marie’s back story, it was a little too quick to wrap up though. I was 10 pages to the end and the main couple still weren’t “together” so it was a little rushed toward the end.

I never liked Marie in the other books so I was a little worried I'd hate this book... I didn't hate it but I didn't love the fact that Marie was still into Jonah for a lot of it even while she started things with Tyler. Marie definitely gets less frustrating as the story goes on and I do appreciate the redemption arc this book posed but I don't think it was enough for me. I do like Marie and Tyler together and think they were cute!
