This is the 3rd book in the Disney Villain book series. In this story we hear more about the Old Sisters and that their sister has gone missing. Also, we learn more about Tulip and her Nanny. Of course we follow the little mermaid story also. And last we find out why Ursula has so much hate in her. This is a quick story with many stories inside of it.

After book 2 I had higher hopes for this one. It was better with actually learning about Ursula and how she came to her hatred.

In the beginning they told her story a bit fast and it could have been told broader.

The addition if princess Tulip and her Nanny from book 2 still puzzles me. They were very mysterious about the background of the Nanny. In the end I was reading more about her and the Odd Sisters than actually Ursula and the Little Mermaid.

3.75/5 rounding down:
I am very torn, I loved the ending of this book. But it did not seem like an Ursula tale, more of the Odd sisters trying to figure out how to save their sister. I was very bored at the beginning of the book and honestly forgot the first 100 pages. Towards the end I liked the book. I started this series with this book, I didn’t realize they were an actual series I thought they were series standalones. I might get the first book if I can find it in the library. But I wouldn’t buy it like I bought this book.

Another fine installment of the Disney Villians Series. I liked the background of where Ursula came from and who she really was in relation to Triton...I thought that made her anger and hatred all the more believable.

Again, the Three Sisters play an enormous role in this story. It seems the further into the Villians series we go, the more prominent they become, almost eclipsing the main character entirely.

I personally don't mind this as I like Circe and her three sisters, but some people seem to be irritated by this. Just something to keep in mind if you've finished the second book and are trying to decide if you want to continue on.

So far, I'm really enjoying this series!
