Really enjoyed the story and this adaptation is wonderfully done! A book sometimes ahead of its time and has lots of twists and turns throughout.

3.5
5 stars for the performance. Unlike any other audiobook, like listening to a TV adaptation and the actors were excellent.
2.5 for the story. I just don't think I'm a Dickens girl. Listened to this because I read Demon Copperhead and really enjoyed it but realised I'd never read David Copperfield. I can see the similarities in the plot between the two but I just think I prefer Barbara Kingsolver's retelling.
