I loved this ending for the series.

Nero is basically Trump, everyone is a little gay and there is no character, who doesn’t need therapy!

Highly recommend!

(spoiler review) Okay, I think maybe the reason I wasn't liking this series was because Rick did too good of a job making Apollo annoying and self absorbed and ridiculous. I did quite enjoy this book and I liked how it wrapped up and I liked Meg's confident transformation, I liked Lou, I liked that they are trying to rehabilitate Nero's orphans, I liked Apollo's mental, and emotional growth. I also like the additions of Nico and Will and I'm very excited to see their book. It's finally time for Nico to shine. OH, also I like how everything wrapped up really well, all the loose ends tied up in a nice pretty bow, and New York did not explode! Woo

This is such a fantastic wrap-up, not only to the Trials of Apollo series, but to the Camp Half-Blood series as well.
This final book really hammered down on the importance of character development, of heart, of breaking cycles of abuse, and of being present in moments that will stick with you for your entire existence. It's not very often you absorb a piece of media that leaves you feeling both ecstatic and sad at the same time, feeling so bittersweet. But this final installment really did it for me. Apollo was already my favorite of the Olympian Gods, but my love for him has raised exponentially after this series. Well done, Riordan, really well done.
