I do not typically give short stories 4 stars. But Eden's latest installment of the Match Makers hit all the right chords for me. It is the sweet embodiment of what you want in a love story because the are so obviously each others half. Eden does a slow build, even if it only takes place over 3-4 weeks, you do not get that 'oh lord not another insta-love' story. You will be sad that there are only 67 pages as you cannot help but fall deeply in love with Otis and likewise, Garrett. It is not overly sugary and certainly not angsty....just a really heartwarming love story that will make you happy you took the time to read.

Cute short story where we got to see how Otis and Garret’s story went beyond the quick glimpse in the other books. Enjoyable.

Not bad at all, but I love the first two much better. Especially the very first :)

As I type this review up I still have a smile on my face. This story captivated me, partly because I can identify with Otis. Who doesn't feel totally unworthy when someone starts giving complements. They can't be talking about me, can they? Yep, been there done that! The other reason I enjoyed this story so much, after reading the first 2 books in this trilogy: The Match Before Christmas and Fanning the Flames. I was happy that this was about one of the couples that Barry had gotten together in his search for love. Read these for a quick read and joyful feeling.

"You deserve someone who loves you for you" That is the advice that Barry gave his friend Otis, and even though Otis didn't really think he had a chance, he still hoped that he could find someone to love and be loved back. He knows that for most people perfect doesn't happen, but sometimes, just sometimes...Everything between two people happens to be JUST RIGHT.

For those of us who have read [b:The Match Before Christmas|9674900|The Match Before Christmas|Eden Winters|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1289751138s/9674900.jpg|14562750] and [b:Fanning the Flames|11199037|Fanning the Flames (The Match Before Christmas, #2)|Eden Winters|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1303613812s/11199037.jpg|16124048] (those of you who have not, please do! Don't deny yourselves awesomeness.) Otis' story is one that we've been waiting for. Otis is chubby guy, geeky, not really very good looking, he doesn't date much. Guys don't usually pay him much attention.

After taking his friend's Barry's advice he posts a profile on an online dating service he is completely honest, and he hopes for the best. Although he doubts anyone will be interested. To his surprise someone is...And the guys is gorgeous! Garret, Mr. Perfection is not only interested, he wants to see Otis, get to know him what he likes. He wants HIM. Otis, just how he is.

This story like the other two in this series are just the sweetest thing. This one might be my favorite though, because it's so BRAVE. Otis didn't have to "improve" or "get a makeover" to reveal the Swan or become someone else, thinner, or trendier or anything. He just had to be himself and that was just perfect for Garret. Because Garret also knew what it was like to be judged by the way he looked, and for him who Otis was, his heart...That was the most important thing.

Love this story. It will warm your heart, it will make you laugh, and it is pretty damn sexy too.

What can better than the good ones getting their happy ending?

Oh man I hope there are more of these, because we didn't get to hang out with Barry or the Toms, and I REALLY miss those guys!

LOVE LOVE LOVE, and then LOVE some more!

REC-O-MMEND!
