While it's not a book I would recommend wholeheartedly, the idea was enough to get me through to the (ultimately unsatisfying) ending.

The plot has already mostly happened by the time the book starts, and the mix of flashbacks in with exposition is wonderful. This book requires an awful lot of thinking, and I am not sure if I am the intended audience. There is no ending as-such. I struggled to feel the impact of some of the (I assume) intended themes.
