Very short, which helped me pull this into my TBR, and very hot! I’m glad there is a full length story with these characters, I’ll be checking it out.

Short, but really enjoyable and hot. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this turned out great.
I've been looking to read more Black queer romances; however, I stumbled across this Black queer erotica and couldn't resist it. It focuses on two characters Nailah and Scottie. Nailah has no interest in dating femmes, but when Scottie approaches her she can't really resist. Zedde did a great job incorporating chemistry between the characters for such a short book. While the period in which they got to know each other happened quickly, it did work well for the context of the story. When Nailah and Scottie finally meet before a date the sparks instantly fly and there was a mirror scene that was just amazingly hot. While I was reading, I went searching for a possible follow up to this book and I found out that there is actually a full length novel which makes me super excited. I think there is a certain element of mystery behind Scottie that makes me extremely interested in knowing whether this is going to work between the two of them. I'll definitely be reading their full length novel.
